Cheek to chic: The sleek contour kit

Sorry for the delay with the post this week guys, Ive just started 6th year and its been hectic to say the least! This week i have a review of dare i say it: The holy grail of contouring, The sleek contour kit!
Ive heard nothing but great things about this product so I couldnt help but be sceptical about all the hype. but after trying and testing this product i can definately say its worth it!

This palette comes with all you need to go from cheek to chic:
The perfect matte contour shade
Beautiful Rose gold blush
Glistening slightly golden highlighter

Mix them together and you get magic (have i sold it to you yet? If not look at the before and after below!)

As you can see it makes such a difference plus the product itself is buttery and long-lasting!
Hope you enjoyed my review of this little gem!

August Favourites

So i know im a tad early for August favourites but what can i say i have a lot of love for these products and they were waiting to be shared!
I made some great discoveries in the month of august which apart from the thoughts of the impending torture of school made me happy all month.

First up, Skincare! Now i am a big believer in taking care of the skin your in and this month i wish i was in someone else skin if im honest! My skin has been breaking out A LOT this month and the Mask of Magniminty from  Lush has been an absoloute lifesaver for my skin! This mask of minty goodness makes your skin feels clean and soft and i would definately recommend this lush lovely!

Next up, The key to long lasting makeup! Yes, thats right the urban decay all-nighter makeup setting spray IS worth all of the hype! I dont know what sort of magic potion is inside that bottle but wow does it set your makeup, and sets it well. I have really tried and tested this baby being a bridesmaid of my auntys wedding last month, and it kept my makeup on for the whole 12 hours yes you heard me right, 12 hours!

Next up, Sephora soulmate. A few months ago my aunt in Boston sent me a package of american makeup which i was excited about the say the least!
In that box of beauty was the gem that is the Sephora + Pantone Universe medicated lip balm in the shade radiant orchid! This lip balm is sheer, but can be built up to give this amazing fushia shade which is long waering and looks beautiful on the lips! P.S lets take a moment for the packaging,
am i right ladies?

i mean look at that glossy goodness!?!

Next up is by far my most exciting discovery of the month because all of us beauty gals know how hard it is to get those american drugstore brands like elf and milani in the UK and Ireland so when i spotted a small selection of elf eyeshadow palettes in TK.Maxx the excitement was real let me tell ya! I decided  to go with the little black beautybook: Warm Edition which contains 48 eyeshadows for €6!!! This is a whole new level of bargain beauty! The shadows are suprisngly pigmented and ive swatch a few of my favourites below!

The flash washed out the pigment a bit but look at those colours!

Finally weve come to my fashion favourite! This vintage treasure was featured in my streets of style post and as a statement necklace it really does live up to its name and adds such pastel goodness to any outfit.

Hope you enjoyed reading about these gems!
