Brand Focus: Caris Closet

So this weeks post is about a brand close to my heart, Caris Closet. For those of you living under a rock, Caris Closet is a designer dress hire and sales boutique in Malahide, Co Dublin. The owner Lisa Kavanagh works hard to provide all of the most amazing designer deals along with some of her own creations. Her lastest venture is Caris Closet Bridal offering some of the most stunning and well made dresses any girl would lust over for their big day. She is slowly building an empire and it it is amazing to see!

I recently recieved a few bits from their website www.cariscloset.ie and I thought I would show you how i styled them!
So first up is a Cari classic, the H belt . This little gem is conveniently reversable black/brown and I can already tell this will be a staple in my winter wardrobe!

This draped jumper is so warm and versatile and can be war with both dressy and casual tops underneath! Yet again perfect for the winter wardrobe and cosying up by the fire.

Possibly my favourite piece is the leather cuff I recieved, but it was a bit to edgy for this look! I will insert a picture of it never the less! Dont fret it will be featured in an outfit pic very soon!

The rest of the outfit:
Vest top (underneath) - New Look
Jeans - Topshop
Shoes - Marco Tozzi
Raincoat - Vintage
Scarf - Burberry
Bag - Pulse Accessories

What are your favourite pieces from Caris Closet?

American Makeup Haul

So you irish and uk girls will understand my excitement when I recieved a package full of makeup all the way from the US of A! There is no doubt that like everything, America tends to do it bigger and better and makeup is no different! My Aunt was kind enough to send me all of these beautys and i may have squealed a little at the sight of the package!

Firstly I had to get a refill of my Covergirl outlast stay fabulous 3 in 1 foundation (a mouthful i know) because I cannot live without the stuff! It really does what it says on the tin and lasts throughout a long school day which cant be said for a lot of foundations in my book.

Next up is eyes and this mascara immediately cought my eye in the bag of goodies, the packaging is to die for. I have already given this baby a test drive and it isnt called outrageous volume for nothing, It does just that in one coat! The only fault is that it is quite difficult to remove like any other waterproof mascara.

On the theme of eyes this next one isnt a purchase I wouldve made myself but I am so impressed with it! This set of 5 glitter liners from Sephora are really pigmented and would be a great addition to any party look this holiday season! P.S The rose gold one is my particular favourite

Onto my favourite part...the lips! As you know from my favourite fall things tag I have been lusting over the Sephora matte lip creams ever since I tried them and so they were No. 1 on my wishlist. I think my aunt took the lust seriously and went for the luster matte formula instead and I am so glad she did! The luster matte formula is way less drying and the pigmentation is out of this world! As a bonus there is more product in the tube, you cant go wrong really...
Shade: Scarlet

Shade: Mulberry

Finally the perfect nude lipstick was a must! From the rave reviews I knew Milanis lipstick in the shade 26 nude cream was the one for me, and I wasnt dissapointed. The shade is the perfect pinky nude and it is great for everyday.
And the packaging is pretty too...

Hope you enjoyed virtually opening this package with me!

Whats your favourite American makeup products? Anything else I need in my life?

Favourite Fall Things Tag

So its safe to say im falling for fall...
(I know we call it Autumn in Ireland but lets go with it ok)

This tag was created by Lindsey Hughes (beautybaby44 on youtube) and i may have just tagged myself to it! I love this time of year the leaves are changing, the candles are burning and i get to bundle up and watch hocus pocus with a big cup of hot chocolote...what more could a girl want? I suggest you get yourself one large cup of hot chocolate and enjoy!

Fall beauty faves:

1. Face Product?
This season means parties, and parties means long lasting makeup and for this I found a saviour of a primer! I have tried and tested the smashbox photo finish primer and i can confirm it is worth the hefty pricetag when my face makeup looks great at 2 in the morning!

2. Cheek Product?
Fall/Autumn is definately the season of paleness so benefits hoola bronzer is must! It brings me from 0 to cheekbones in a flash and I cant thank it enough for that!

3. Eye product?
The Estee Lauder doublewear eye liner really lives up to the name! It definately fits the long lasting requirements and actually stays on my waterline which is a win in my book.

4. Lip Product?
The perfect red lip product is hard to come by but i think i have struck gold with this one. The sephora matte lip cream in 01 always red is creamy matte that isnt drying and incredibly long lasting! I borrowed this from a friend for a party and I loved it so much i got my aunty to send me one all the way form the US of A!

5. Hair Product?
What would life be like without dry shampoo? The Batiste dry shampoo has me asking that question lately and even for freshly washed hair it gives great texture!

6. Fragrance/Candle?
My favourite fall fragrance has to be Honey by Marc Jacobs! Im going to have to get my hands on the full bottle after a taste, or should i say smell of the mini one! Its beautiful warm fragrance perfect as the weather is getting colder.

7. Nail polish?
I am loving this nyc nail polish in full metal jacket is goes full metal jacket in two coats, impressive right!

Fall fashion faves:
8. Im combining the trendy clothing item with the cosy clothing item with my beloved cardigan from River Island that I talked about in my latest blog post Tribal Transition

9. Shoes:
My Marco tozzi boots are a regular feature in my blog posts for a reason ladies and gentlmen. They are comfy, go with everything and give me some much needed height!

10. Accessory:
My necklace from Pulse accessories is so versitile and unique and goes with all of my fall outfits!

Now for the fun part, the non beauty questions:

11. Halloween or Thanksgiving?
Im going to have to say Halloween for this one because we dont celebrate Thanksgiving here but I feel like I would like the food and the serious sales on black friday! I do love a good Halloween though, this year was pretty uneventful but I like the whole free food and movie night thing(hocus pocus ia a must)!

12. Favourite festive food and/or drink?
So my favourite food has to be a good turkey and ham roast dinner, stuffing, veg the works! There is nothing more comforting than a family dinner on a sunday, it warms you inside when its cold outside. As for drink it has to be that big cup of hot chocolate I was rambling about, its a must for the fall.

13. Whats the happiest part about fall for you?
It has to be just that, family you have no choice but to spend time with them when its freezing outside haha

What are your favourite fall things?
I tag my freind and fellow blogger Rachel Farrell and all of you to do this x
Hope you enjoyed this post it was a little different than my usual ones!
